Pumpkin Patch
Today was a great day, we resumed the annual Kesler Family Tradition of going to the Pumpkin Patch with our Kesler cousins! We took our boys for thier first two falls, and then our sweet cousins moved away to Texas. Now they are back and we had so much fun today! Here are some of my fave pics of the day! I don't know why this is underlining everything!
I have to say, my neice is so stinking adorable, with the most delicious chocolatey brown eyes ever. All afternoon, she kept grabbing my hand to walk with me, and sit on my lap...she melts me! I love you Katie!

such cute photos - your niece is adorable! great to see you at a little bit of heaven yesterday. glad you got to continue such a fun tradition!
Oh my gosh! Those pictures are awesome! Thank you for posting them. We had such a great time with you guys yesterday! We loved resuming the Kesler pumpkin patch tradition. I showed the pics to Kate and she was squealing with excitement, especially the ones of you and Jack. She just kept yelling, "Jaaack!, Jaaack!"
We love you guys so much!
How fun!! I can't wait to get over there!
eryn,
how nice to "meet" you... jason has told me about you, growing up and stuff. i'm glad you stopped by the blog, i don't update it enough that's for sure. the whole work and family and youth pastor hubby is like a hard act to juggle sometimes. anyway, our little guy is 4 years old so the line up will be 6.5, almost 5, 4 and 1.5. So yeah we're buyin stock in Wheaties and we'll be runnin but we're oh so excited to meet him and be on this rollercoaster of a journey. Since we flip flopped our process we are finishing paperwork and then we go straight to court, so we're not sure when we will go to Ethiopia. That's so neat you guys are with AGCI. You will love working with them. I am continuly inmpressed with the agency. Great blog by the way. We're trying to find creative ways to fund our adoption expenses too!
Blessings,
Kala
eryn,
unfortuanetly it's the same for every child as far as expense. although we will pay slightly more in travel since you wouldn't pay for a baby's ticket, so in that sense i guess it's a little more! the paperwork kicked my tail i was in a month long training, youth camps, jason traveling, started working 12 hour shifts, aaaaagh, it was too much so it took us FOREVER to get our paperwork done. it's not bad if you can buckle down and devote time to it.
we'll see how the coupon game goes, i would imagine it will take time to get used to looking for the good deals. if you send me your private email i can send you a pic of our guy. my email is kalaj81@msn.com.
we just need to finish our homestudy visit, get our approved report, send that with our dossier(which we have done) to the agency, file for CIS approval and then wait some more for authentication, translation, court processing and then finally a US embassy appointment so all of that will get kicked off once our social worker wraps up her end.
so yup, lots of waiting. :).
talk to you soon, thanks for the tips.
kala
